Cookie and Storage Policy

Version 1.0 — 6 October 2026.

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Solved Technologies Ltd ("Solved", "we", "us") stores information on, and reads information from, your device when you use solved.legal, including our sign-in and account pages (together, the "Site").

This policy covers browser cookies, local storage, and session storage.

What we do with the information afterwards (who receives it, how long we keep it and your rights) is explained in our Privacy Notice.

2. If you are not signed in

We deliberately keep the signed-out experience free of device storage.

When you browse the Site or use the search page without signing in:

  • We don't set any cookies or store anything in your browser (with one exception below).
  • Nothing is stored on your device after you close the tab. We don't build a profile of you or record your session.
  • We measure how the Site is used without cookies, such as which pages were viewed, aggregate interaction counts and page performance. It is not tied to a persistent identifier on your device.
  • We keep the searches you run to help us improve search, but we don't link them to you, your device or your IP address.

The exception: the feedback form. When you open it, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person and not an automated script. To do this it reads basic information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. We use it only to protect the form from abuse. Cloudflare explains the check in its Turnstile privacy addendum.

3. Strictly necessary storage

When you sign in, we set the cookies below. Signing in cannot work without them, and the law allows storage that is strictly necessary for a service you have asked for without asking your permission first. We do not ask for consent for these cookies, and you cannot switch them off in your account settings. If you block them in your browser, you will not be able to sign in.

4. Analytics for signed-in users

This section applies only when you are signed in.

4.1 Analytics

This section covers storage whose only purpose is to produce statistics about how the Site is used, so we can make improvements.

These statistics include page views, aggregate interaction counts, funnels, performance measurement, and heatmaps. The Privacy Notice explains how long the statistics are kept and who receives them.

4.2 Session recording (requires opt-in)

This section covers optional storage that is switched off by default. Opting in to this storage enhances our ability to make site improvements.

If you choose to opt-in, you can choose to opt-out again at any time. When you sign out, recording stops.

The Privacy Notice explains how long the recordings are kept and who receives them.

4.3. Managing your choices

You can manage your storage choices at any time in your Account Settings.

  • Analytics (section 4.1) is on unless you switch it off. Switching it off deletes the analytics storage on your device straight away.
  • Session recording (section 4.2) is off unless you switch them on. Switching it off stops any recording immediately.
  • Browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. This will sign you out, and you may need to set your choices again.

5. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when our use of these technologies changes. Questions: [email protected].
