In addition to any Document Codes required by the Commodity Code, Procedure Code and Additional Procedure Codes, users should check the full list of codes provided in Appendix 5 to identify any other Document Codes that should be provided in DE 2/3 in order to the declare the goods.

Other drivers for Document Codes may include:

  • Other authorisations such as Authorised Economic Operator (AEO), Customs Supervised Exports (CSE) or Entry in Declarant’s Records (EIDR)

  • Preference or Origin Statements

  • Transport documents

  • Commercial documents, such as packing lists or invoices.
