Regulation 18 and 19 of The Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (MLR 2017), require businesses to establish policies, controls and procedures based on their risk assessment to mitigate and manage the risks of money laundering and terrorist financing activity.
