If there is not a legal gateway which allows you to disclose information to the police in the ATCSA (IDG54020), Terrorism Act (IDG54040), or Crime and Disorder Act (IDG54050), and you consider it is in the public interest for the police to obtain information you hold, see IDG60000 for the limited circumstances in which you may make a public interest disclosure. You must not make a public interest disclosure unless you have followed the guidance issued at IDG60000.
