All information sharing will initially be run as a pilot to explore the benefit of the data share.

The Public Service Delivery Debt and Fraud Code of Practice (Section 4.3) contains details of the steps public authorities must follow if they wish to use the powers including how to submit a pilot proposal to the Fraud and Debt Review Board which considers non devolved and England -only information.

The devolved administrations will establish their own governance structures for oversight of information sharing arrangements within their areas.
