IEIM140300 - The ICAP Process

The ICAP process is built around a framework which comprises of 3 stages, each with its own defined timeframe. Key to the ICAP risk assessment is the lead tax administration who will oversee the process and facilitate the interactions between the participating tax administrations and the MNE group.

ICAP is supported by a handbook which outlines the ICAP process in greater detail. The handbook also provides a list of the information required to be provided by the MNE group at each stage.

The ICAP handbook can be found here.
