IEIM8000250 | Central Bank Digital Currencies

From HM Revenue & Customs · International Exchange of Information Manual

Central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) are any digital fiat currency issued by a central bank. They are not treated as relevant cryptoassets under the CARF given they are a digital form of fiat currency. They are reported instead under the Common Reporting Standard (CRS).
