IFM08650 | Partnership Authorised Contractual Schemes: Chargeable Gains

From HM Revenue & Customs · Investment Funds Manual

Partnership ACS are transparent for chargeable gains purposes. That means there is a chargeable event each time the operator of the Partnership ACS acquires or disposes of assets held in the Partnership ACS. It also means that there may be a chargeable event every time new units in the ACS are issued or existing units are cancelled.

The normal chargeable gains rules for partnerships apply to investors in a Partnership ACS. See CG27000C for details.
