National Minimum Wage rates (NMWM03010) are usually increased (NMWM03110) on 1 October each year. From October 2000, National Minimum Wage rate years run from 1 October to 30 September the following year.

Any increase in rates affects pay reference periods starting on or after the date of the change (NMWM03110).
