TPD4170 | Security: physical and financial - Financial Security: effect of claims made against guarantee

If a claim is made against a guarantee you should, as a result, review the level of security that the trader is required to provide.

If a claim is made against a ‘reduced level’ guarantee (i.e. one given by an established trader – see sections TPD4080 - TPD4140), the level of cover provided by the replacement guarantee must be the full amount as calculated for a new trader.
