Company with industrial building leaves tonnage tax

Where a tonnage tax company with an industrial building as a tonnage tax asset leaves tonnage tax, the amount of unrelieved qualifying expenditure on the industrial building is calculated as if:

• the company had never been subject to tonnage tax, and

• all possible allowances and charges under the IBA legislation had been made.
