Section 1131 | Imprisonment on summary conviction in England and Wales: transitory provision

(1)This section applies to any provision of the Companies Acts that provides that a person guilty of an offence is liable on summary conviction in England and Wales to imprisonment for a term not exceeding the general limit in a magistrates’ court.^F1

(2)In relation to an offence committed before 2 May 2022, for “the general limit in a magistrates’ court” substitute “six months”.^F2F3
