Section 53A | Names for criminal purposes

A company must not be registered under this Act by a name if, in the opinion of the Secretary of State, the registration of the company by that name is intended to facilitate—F1

(a)the commission of an offence involving dishonesty or deception, orF1

(b)the carrying out of conduct that, if carried out in any part of the United Kingdom, would amount to such an offence.F1
