Section 53A | Names for criminal purposes

A company must not be registered under this Act by a name if, in the opinion of the Secretary of State, the registration of the company by that name is intended to facilitate—^F1

(a)the commission of an offence involving dishonesty or deception, or^F1

(b)the carrying out of conduct that, if carried out in any part of the United Kingdom, would amount to such an offence.^F1
