The OPREC computer system provides IT support for the collection, recovery and accounting of overpaid amounts of Child Benefit. A down load of data from OPREC is performed at each month end and sent to the Central Debt Management System (CDMS). Accounting, validation and reconciliation is provided by CDMS currently based in Norcross and the responsibility of DWP.
