The following cases cannot be pursued using the CCBC. They are grouped together according to the reason for exclusion.

Excluded by the CCBC Rules of Membership

• total debt (including interest, but excluding court fees and costs) is £100,000 or more

• partnership cases where there are more than two partners

• defendant’s address for service is outside of England and Wales

• Welsh language cases.

Specific IDMS work item types not supported by the IDMS / CCBC interface

If you attempt to issue a claim and the type of debt, or combination of debts, is not supported by the interface, you will receive an error message to that effect. In these circumstances, you will have to issue a claim manually.
