Payment including costs
If the defender pays the claim in full including the costs by
cash
debit card or
certified cheque (DMBM675100)
before the calling date (DMBM675100) you should
notify the court in writing that the claim has been paid and that the case is withdrawn The court will note its records and you will not be required to attend court on the calling date.
bring the payment to account
complete the costs record as necessary (DMBM677020 etc.)
note the appropriate computer records.
Payment without costs
Where the defender pays the claim in full excluding the costs by cash, by debit card orcertified cheque before the calling date you should
notify the court, in writing, that the claim has been paid and the case is withdrawn. The court will note its records and you will not be required to attend court on the calling date
bring the payment to account
complete the costs record as necessary (DMBM677020 etc.)
note the appropriate computer records accordingly
make one application for payment of the costs and if they are not paid
