DNALC3100 | Producers: Procedure for authorising licensed distillers, rectifiers and compounders: Application

Licensed distillers, rectifiers and compounders must apply in writing requesting authorisation to produce denatured alcohol and giving:

• The location of the premises where the denatured alcohol will be produced and

• Details of the category of denatured alcohol that will be produced

Note: In addition to their request for authorisation, producers must also apply in writing for approval of their processes (see DNALC4100). In practice this will usually be contained in the same letter.
