NMWM08570 | Working time: breaks in employment

From HM Revenue & Customs · National Minimum Wage Manual

Breaks in employment do not affect a worker’s entitlement to National Minimum Wage.

Times when a worker has a break in their employment and is not working for the employer are simply treated as periods when no work is performed.
