England

Agricultural workers in England must be paid at least the National Minimum Wage (NMWM03100). The National Minimum Wage for agricultural workers in England is enforced in the normal way (NMWM15000).

Wales

The Agricultural Sector (Wales) Act 2014 requires Ministers of the Welsh Executive to ensure compliance with the terms of the Agricultural Wages (Wales) Orders made by the Agricultural Advisory Panel for Wales (NMWM02050). Enforcement work is carried out by officers appointed by Welsh Ministers.

Scotland

The Agricultural Wages (Scotland) Act 1949 requires Ministers of the Scottish Executive to ensure compliance with the terms of the Agricultural Wages (Scotland) Orders made by the Scottish Agricultural Wages Board (NMWM02050). Enforcement work is carried out by officers appointed by Scottish Ministers.

Northern Ireland

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs deals with enforcement of Orders made by the Agricultural Wages Board for Northern Ireland (NMWM02050).
