The maximum size of any file that can be added to a Room is 9 Mega Bytes (Mb).

Any attempt to upload a file of over 9Mb to a Room will be automatically prevented by the service.

This site restriction cannot be changed by the Shared Workspace Team.

Notes:

  1. A file that is over 9Mb in its original form but is compressed or zipped to a size below 9Mb can be added to Shared Workspace.

  2. A file stored in Shared Workspace can exceed 9Mb if data is added to it after it has been uploaded.

Alternative options for uploading a file that is too large is to print it to PDF, split it into multiple smaller documents, or zip it into 9Mb chunks that can be uploaded as a connected set.
