SW06600 | Rooms: Re-open a Room

Where there is a business need, an HMRC Business Authorising Officer (BAO) can reopen aclosed Room, provided it has not been deleted SW06700.

On closing a Room SW06500 all members other than the BAOs are removed. Members will therefore need to be reinstated, as appropriate, when a Room is reopened.

Note: Only Customer Nominated Contacts (CNCs) can request to add members of their organisation into the Room. The BAO must therefore promptly invite the Customer Organisation Representative(COR) to appoint two CNCs SW04520 so that Customer Members can be reinstated, as appropriate, with the minimum of delay.
