Connect another MCP agent
Solved uses the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), so you can connect any agent that supports remote MCP servers.
Before you start
You need:
A Solved account with agent access. Our team approves access; signing in or adding Solved to your agent doesn't grant it on its own. .
An agent that supports remote MCP servers. Look for a setting to add a connector, integration, tool or MCP server by web address.
Using Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot? Follow their guides instead, as they include the exact menus.
Connect your agent
Add Solved as an MCP server
In your agent's settings, add a new remote MCP server or custom connector. Name it Solved and paste the server address.
Solved server address https://mcp.solved.legal/mcpChoose OAuth sign-in
If asked how to authenticate, choose OAuth. Leave any client ID, client secret or API key fields empty.
Sign in to Solved
A Solved sign-in page opens. Sign in with your approved account, check the permissions and select Allow access.
Turn Solved on
Some agents need you to turn on a connector for each conversation. If yours does, turn on Solved.

Try your first question
Start a new conversation and paste this question.
Use Solved to find the HMRC manual section about group relief. Open the section and give me its title, reference and source link.
Check it worked
- You can see that your agent used Solved while answering.
- The answer includes a link to the source it read.
- The link opens that section in Solved.
If the answer has no source link, your agent probably answered from its own knowledge. Check that Solved is turned on and ask again.
Having trouble?
Check the address is exactly as shown, including /mcp at the end. Your agent must support remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP and MCP version 2026-07-28. Agents that only run local MCP servers can't connect.
Solved only supports OAuth sign-in, so agents that need an API key can't connect yet.
Sign in with the Solved account that was approved for agent access. If you haven't asked for access yet, .
Leave these empty. Solved doesn't need them. If you can't continue without them, tell us which step you're on.
Still stuck? with the agent and plan you use and the step where you got stuck.
