Connect another AI app

Solved uses the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), so you can connect any AI app that supports remote MCP servers.

Before you start

You need:

  • A Solved account with at least one area of law. New to Solved? Start a free trial: 14 days free, cancel anytime. If your team already uses Solved, sign in and choose your areas.

  • An AI app that supports remote MCP servers. Look for a setting to add a connector, integration, tool or MCP server by web address.

Using Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot? Follow its guide instead, as it includes the exact menus. This guide covers every other app, including Gemini.

Connect your AI app

  1. Add Solved as an MCP server

    In your AI app's settings, add a new remote MCP server or custom connector. Name it Solved and paste the server address.

  2. Choose OAuth sign-in

    If asked how to authenticate, choose OAuth. Leave any client ID, client secret or API key fields empty.

  3. Sign in to Solved

    A Solved sign-in page opens. Sign in with your Solved account. When Solved asks you to confirm the connection, select Connect.

  4. Turn Solved on

    Some AI apps need you to turn on a connector for each conversation. If yours does, turn on Solved.

Check it worked

  • You can see that your AI used Solved while answering.
  • The answer includes a link to the source it read.
  • The link opens that section in Solved.

If the answer has no source link, your AI probably answered from its own knowledge. Check that Solved is connected, then ask again and mention Solved in your question.
