NMWM06100 | Specific occupations and special groups: disabled workers

For National Minimum Wage purposes there are no special rules in respect of disabled workers. It should be noted that a person’s productivity or ability is not a factor in establishing entitlement to the National Minimum Wage.

Some disabled workers might be engaged in therapeutic or permitted work (NMWM06280).
