Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘View’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
enter the customers NINO
select the ‘All’ checkbox
select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Individual’ screen
select the relevant claim
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen or the ‘Select Application Version’ screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.
go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen
select the claim with the status of ‘Award Issued’
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen, follow the guidance below for that screen.
go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen
select version 1 of the claim
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘Application Summary’ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Application Summary’ screen
note the date of birth of the customer shown in the ‘Applicant 1’ and, where applicable ‘Applicant 2’ boxes
select ‘Navigation’ on the toolbar
select ‘Work’ from the options available
select ‘Applicant 1’ or ‘Applicant 2’ as appropriate. You will be taken to the appropriate ‘Applicant Work’ screen for the selected customer
Note: In a two-person claim, if both customers work, both checkboxes will be available and both of their work details must be checked.
note the total number of hours worked shown in the ‘Total Hours Worked’ field.
