Step 1
Open the ‘Interim Single Sign On’ icon
select ‘AMBS O/P Rec Officer’. You will be taken to the ‘AMBS - Function Menu’ screen
select ‘Household’ on the toolbar
select ‘View Overpayment’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select ‘OK’
If you are taken to the ‘Select Award’ screen
highlight the relevant award
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘View Overpayment’ Screen
go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘View Overpayment’ screen
go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘View Overpayment’ screen
select ‘Details’. You will be taken to the ‘View Overpayment - Direct’ screen
select ‘Maintain Overpayment’. You will be taken to the ‘Maintain Overpayments’ screen
go to Step 3.
Step 3
On the ‘Maintain Overpayment’ screen, the ‘Refer to Local Recovery’ box will indicate if the marker has been set or not.
