Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘In Year Finalisation’ on the toolbar
select ‘Maintain IY Finalisation’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select individual’ screen
select the relevant individual that you need to work
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’ go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Select household’ screen
select the relevant household that you need to work
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’ go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘Household Details’ Screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Household Details’ screen
select ‘Continue’. You will be taken to the ‘Notice details’ screen
select either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to any warning messages that you may see depending on what action you need to take.
select a ‘Reason’ from the drop down list, when setting the ‘Not Served’ indicator.
select ‘OK’ . You will be returned to the ‘Notice Details’ screen
Note: If an appointee is marked as Not Served the In Year S17 Notice will be issued to the claimant(s)
Note: once a Notice has been marked as Not Served and a subsequent In Year S17 Notice issued, any future changes will be made against the latest version of the In Year S17 Notice for that household.
