Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘Change of Circumstances’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select the ‘All’ checkbox
select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Household’ screen
select the relevant claim
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Amend Application’ screen
go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen
select the relevant claim
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Amend Application’ screen
go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘Amend Application’ screen, go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Free Format’ screen
select ‘No’ to cancel out of ‘Change of Circumstances’ function
go to Step 3.
Step 2
On the ‘Amend Application’ screen
select ‘Pm1’ on the toolbar. The ‘Payment Details’ screen will display
enter the new bank account number in the ‘Account No’ field
enter the bank sort code in the ‘Sort Code’ field
enter the account name in the ‘Account Name’ field
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Amend Finish’ screen
do not complete the ‘Amend Finish’ screen at this point, just return to the guidance you were previously following.
Step 3
on the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘Correction’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select the ‘All’ checkbox
select ‘OK’. You will prompted to make the change in function ‘Capture Application’
select ‘Yes’ on the message. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
select ‘Pm1’ on the toolbar. The ‘Payment Details’ screen will display
Note: If it is a joint claim, select either ‘Pm1’ for the first customer or ‘Pm2’ for the second customer depending on which customer has opened the bank account.
enter the new bank account number in the ‘Account No’ field
enter the bank sort code in the ‘Sort Code’ field
enter the account name in the ‘Account Name’ field
select ‘Sm’ on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Summary Information’ screen
Note: Do not select ‘OK’ at this stage.
