Changes to previous version - new guidance
Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Household’ on the toolbar
select ‘View Account’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select the ‘All’ checkbox
select the ‘Postings’ checkbox
select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Award’ screen
select the relevant award
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen
go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen
select the relevant payment. You will be taken to the ‘View BACS Details’ screen
note the account details shown in the ‘Account Details’ field
go to Step 3.
Step 3
Go back to the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘Correction’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select the ‘All’ checkbox
select ‘OK’
select the relevant claim
select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen
select the relevant claim
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
go to Step 4.
If you are taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen, go to Step 4.
Step 4
On the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
Note: if the ‘Signals’ screen displays. select ‘Cancel’
select ‘Pm1’ or ‘Pm2’, as appropriate on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Payment’ screen
note the account details shown in the ‘Account Details’ field.
If the first account details you noted are the same as the second account details you noted, the customer’s account details haven’t changed.
If the first account details you noted are not the same as the second account details you noted, the customer’s account details have changed.
