Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Household’ on the toolbar
select ‘View Account’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select the ‘All’ checkbox
select the ‘Postings’ checkbox
select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Select Award’ screen
select the relevant award
select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen
go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen, select each posting with a ‘Posting Date’ after the date the household breakdown was notified.
If there is a credit shown in the ‘Tax Credit Type’ column
make a note of the credit shown in the ‘Tax Credit Type’ column
make a note of the amount paid in the ‘Amount’ column
double click on the posting
go to Step 3.
If there isn’t a credit shown in the ‘Tax Credit Type’ column
double click on the posting
go to Step 4.
Step 3
If you’re taken to the ‘View BACS Details’ screen
make a note of which customer the payment was made to
Note: The customer’s name in the ‘Payee Name’ field will be who the payment was issued to. However, if both customers names are in the ‘Account Name’ field we treat this payment as being made to both customers.
you’ve now established the payments that were made after the household breakdown was notified.
If you’re taken to the ‘View Giro Details’ screen
make a note of which customer the payment was made to
Note: The customers name in the ‘Payee Details’ field will be who the payment was issued to.

Step 4
If you’re taken to the ‘View BACS Details’ screen
make a note of the ‘Net Amount’ figure for CTC shown in the ‘Multiple Postings For Payment’ screen
make a note of the ‘Net Amount’ figure for WTC shown in the ‘Multiple Postings For Payment’ screen
make a note of which customer the payment was made to
Note: The customers name in the ‘Payee Name’ field will be who the payment was issued to. However if both customers names are in the ‘Account Name’ field we treat this payment as being made to both customers.
