TCM1000657 | How to access the General Registrars Office (GRO)

Step 1

Note: You must have access to GRO computer systems

Note: GRO only holds records for children born after 18-11-2009

Access GRO from your computer desktop. To do this;

• select ‘Start’

• select ‘My Services’

• select ‘Corporate Services’

• select ‘GRO’

• go to Step 2

Step 2

• enter your email address in the ‘email address’ field

• enter your password in the ‘Please Sign On’ field

• select ‘Enter’.

• go to Step 3.

Step 3

In the relevant boxes

• enter the child’s surname,

• enter the child’s forename(s),

• enter the child’s date of birth

• select ‘Search’

• the child’s information or a nil result message will display
