Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘View’ from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO in the ‘NINO’ field
select the ‘All’ checkbox
select ‘OK’.
If you’re taken to the ‘Select Individual’ screen
select the relevant claim
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
go to Step 2.
If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen
select the relevant claim
select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
go to Step 2.
If you’re taken straight to the ‘Application Summary’ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Application Summary’ screen
select ‘VH’ on the toolbar. You’ll be taken to the ‘Applicant 1’ screen
check the entry next to ‘UK National’ under ‘Additional Details’.
If UK National is shown as ‘No’, this indicates the customer is subject to immigration control (STIC)
make a note of the customer’s immigration status on form TC648
go to Step 3.
If UK National is shown as ‘Yes’, this indicates the customer isn’t subject to immigration control
make a note of the customer’s immigration status on form TC648
go to Step 3.
Step 3
On the ‘Applicant 1’ screen
select ‘Ap 2’ on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant 2’ screen
check the entry next to ‘UK National’ under ‘Additional Details’.
If UK National is shown as ‘No’, this indicates the customer is subject to immigration control (STIC), make a note of the customer’s immigration status on form TC648.
If UK National is shown as ‘Yes’, this indicates that the customer isn’t subject to immigration control, make a note of the customer’s immigration status on form TC648.
