Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘Correction’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select the ‘Latest’ checkbox
select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
select ‘Ch’ on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Child Details’ screen
select the relevant child or young person
select ‘Correction’. You will be taken to the ‘Correction Child’ screen
select the ‘Responsibility - History’ checkbox
select ‘History’. You will be taken to the ‘History’ screen
select ‘New’. You will be taken to the ‘New’ screen
enter the date responsibility for the child or young person started in the ‘Start Date’ field
select ‘OK’
where the message ‘1 month restriction applied to include from date. Check if correct’ displays, select ‘OK’. You will be taken back to the ‘History’ screen
select the period you want to change
select ‘Change’. You will be taken to the ‘Change’ screen
enter the date responsibility for the child or young person started in the ‘Include From’ field
select ‘OK’. You have set the child responsibility include from date on the post award failed claim.
