Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘Capture Current’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
enter the customer’s NINO
select ‘Navigation’ on the toolbar
select the relevant option to view the required screen
select ‘Work’ to view the work details for each customer and make a note of any details held.
Step 2
Note: If there is more than one household listed you must access the household applicable to the work item you need to access.
On the ‘Function Menu’
select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
select ‘Correction’ from the options available
enter the customer’s NINO
the ‘all’ box will be checked, so select ‘OK’
select the relevant award, for example, PY or CY
select ‘Navigation’ on the toolbar
select ‘Work’
check the ‘Work’ screen for each customer and make a note of
number of jobs
Note: If ‘1’ is shown in number of paid jobs and the job is not relevant to UY because it finished in UY-1 or earlier, this could be the reason for the incompatibility.
start date of current employment (or start date of current self employment)
select ‘History’ from the toolbar
select ‘Total Hours Worked’ if this is available from the options. You will be taken to the ‘History’ screen
make a note of the dates of all the periods for total hours worked for both customers, if applicable
select ‘Cancel’. You will be taken back to the ‘Work Details’ screen
select ‘Navigation’ on the toolbar
select ‘Income’
select ‘History’ from the toolbar
select ‘IS’ / ‘JSA’ / ‘ESA’ / ‘MIG’, if available, from the options. You will be taken to the ‘History’ screen
make a note of the dates of all the periods for UY-1 on the ‘History’ screen for IS / JSA / ESA / MIG (PC), if applicable, for both customers.
